HDRI Backdrop Hide image question

Hi All

I was wondering if anyone could help me with hiding the HDRI backdrop but keeping the lighting information from it? Like in Marmoset toolbag you can select a specific colour instead of the actual photo hdri information as the background.

You can use the image as a cubemap for the skylight.
