Fifteen stylised farm props for a barnyard: a pitchfork, shovel, hoe, rake, hand saw, and mallet; a wooden bucket, a milk can, a crate of apples, a tied grain sack, a basket, and a trough; a wooden gate, one fence bay, and an oil lantern. The download is those meshes, the texture sheets, and the Blender source file. A barn, a field, and animals are other products.
HDLM Farm Barnyard Props is a set of 15 stylised static meshes for dressing a barnyard.
The fifteen are:
- Pitchfork with four tines, shovel, hoe, and rake with sixteen tines
- Hand saw and wooden mallet
- Empty wooden bucket with a rope handle, closed milk can with a bare-metal body and a dark iron lid, open crate with six apples, tied grain sack, empty round basket, and empty wooden trough
- One wooden gate with its posts, one free-standing fence bay, and a square oil lantern
The fence is one bay. A second bay is a copy you place yourself. There is no snap kit. The gate is a static mesh. The lantern's glass panes are transparent and there is a burner inside the cage, modelled as geometry. There is no flame object, no light, and no emissive map.
Wood, metal, and cloth each ship as a 2048x2048 PNG sheet, and glass ships as a 256x256 PNG sheet. Each sheet has a base color, a normal, an ORM map, and a metallic-smoothness map. The sheets are shared, so a bucket and a fence rail use the same cream wood.
The download contains FBX static meshes with separate PNG textures, self-contained GLB (glTF 2.0) files with the images embedded in each file, the Blender source file, and a README.
Tested in Unreal Engine 5.7.4-51494982. The GLB files import through Interchange, and the base color, normal, and ORM textures come in with each file. The FBX files import as meshes. Their materials and normal textures come in with them. The base-colour and ORM textures do not. Assign those two maps by hand. The README has the steps. That import did not need a scale flag or a rotation flag.
Tested in Unity 2022.3.62f3 and in Unity 6000.3.12f1. The FBX files import on both builds. The imported root sits at scale 1 with no rotation; the files are already Y-up and upright. Stock Unity imported the GLB files as generic assets, not as meshes, on both builds.
The lantern's transparency travels in the GLB, which carries alphaMode BLEND. FBX does not carry a blend mode, so in both engines the glass slot arrives opaque and you set it to translucent yourself. The README has that step.
A barn, silo, windmill, or roof; ground, crops, straw, or dirt; animals or people; a vehicle; a second fence kit; a blueprint, a particle, or a cloth simulation: those are other products.
The grey studio floor in the gallery, and the brown walls in the barn-corner image, are not in the download.
- 15 stylized farm and barnyard props
- Six hand tools, six containers, one gate, one fence bay, and an oil lantern
- Shared PNG sheets: wood, metal, and cloth at 2048x2048, glass at 256x256
- Base color, normal, ORM, and metallic-smoothness map on each sheet
- FBX with separate PNG textures, GLB (glTF 2.0) with the images embedded, the Blender source file, and a README
- One palette across the set: bare wood, cream paint, red paint, dark iron, burlap, and rope
- Meshes and textures made for this pack, not started from a third-party or generated reference
- Imports in Unreal Engine 5.7.4-51494982. On the FBX files, assign the base-colour and ORM maps by hand. The GLB files bring those textures in
- FBX imports in Unity 2022.3.62f3 and in Unity 6000.3.12f1. Stock Unity does not import the GLB files as meshes on either build
