So I was working on a project and unreal crashed on me and I thought ok I guess this is a sign to go to bed. I put my computer to sleep and when I woke it in the morning the drive that unreal was installed on wasn’t being read by my computer. I had zero problems till this happened and I’m not sure what to do. I’ve restarted it a bunch of times and sometimes it comes back but if I try to open unreal it disappears again. I managed to uninstall it one time when it came back and then reinstall it and it did the same thing. I ran a scan to repair any files on the HDD when it was back one of the times and it came back saying nothing was wrong ,so I don’t think the drive is bad. I’m open to any suggestions, thanks in advance.
Hi!
It sounds like you have an issue with your hard drive if this keep happening - Firstly I suggest running Cristal Disk Mark to check for your drive health. The UE may access some array that is damaged - therefore the crash, so please check that first
