So I have a project setup using the first person template in 5.2. I’m using the rifle component as a character upgrade. I’ve only changed a few things from it’s original form. I have a custom game instance and save game setup that is storing variables for keeping the items i’ve collected through death or level change. All the variables store properly when changing levels or dying but the problem i’m having is that the rifle component that is attached to the player disappears after a death or level change. Just wondering if anyone may have a solution for the weapon to still be attached upon death or level change?
