Hi all, I just noticed that my character sprites look messed up, and I don’t really know why. I’ve imported a sprite sheet as a texture, and set the “Filter” property to Nearest. However, I’m still getting an effect that makes some of the pixels look like colors are bleeding together. I’ve attached one image which is a single sprite taken directly from the sprite sheet outside of UE4. The other image is a screen cap of the same sprite once I’ve imported it. I must have some setting set improperly, but I’m at a loss for what it is.
Sorry for the size difference between the images. The effect is most noticeable to me around the crest on the guy’s helmet, but you can spot it all over. As you can see, the pixels still look rigidly defined, which is good, but their colors are bleeding, which is bad.
Thanks for reading!
