Hello,
I’m trying to make geometry stop sound, it works with occlusion but it’s fine for a closed room for example, when I open the door I hear the sound but when I let the door open and walk left until I don’t “see” the sound cue, sound completly stops, I’d like it to behave normaly.
I know I can set the occlusion On/Off runtime but it’s a bit of a pain if I have to check if a door is open or not and it will be for the enmy footsteps.
I explain the gameplay I’d like.
Player / Enemi can’t hear eachother if they’re in different rooms with closed doors but once there’s a path between them, it should be the opposite.
Any idea how I could achieve that? Sound Occlusion is good but the player has to be on sight of the sound to heard it
