Has the Intel CPU crash issue on older engine versions been resolved?

I’m using version 4.21 for some reason.

I discovered that Unreal Engine versions 4.13 through 4.21 crash on Intel 10Gen and newer CPUs due to issues with OPENSSL.

The link above says that the solution is to upgrade to Unreal Engine 4.22 or later, but I am unable to upgrade due to a bug with nativization in 4.22 or later.

  1. Does this serious issue still exist in games deployed with Unreal Engine 4.21?
  2. Does this issue occur in projects that don’t use openssl-related features?

This is preventing me from moving forward with my project. Please help me.
