I keep getting this error on several of my meshes on import and i have no idea why. I am using maya 2015 to export… please help… I noticed some incorrect shading on a couple of them that looks odd.

I already tried deleting history, optimizing scene size option, unlocking normals, set to face normals… and then set normal angle…

Everything has 1 uv set…

I really dont understand what is wrong here. Can someone please help me? I don’t get this problem on every model. Most models come in fine. But I am at a loss on how to actually fix the problem meshes. All the usual things do nothing at all.

Two things will cause that. The first is having polys that have 2 overlapping vertices or only two vertices to begin with. The second thing is not having a UV map.
