You can use Timeline to drive animation.
As for direction of swing, I would place two triggers (or buttons, or anything else you use to trigger the opening event), one on either side of the door and just pass different values to the door function. Then use this value to determine the correct direction.

If you don’t know how Blueprints work it will be extremely hard, if not impossible, for you to build anything like this. I suggest you watch some of the official BP tutorials from Epic’s YouTube channel:
