Has anyone licensed their UE project's source code for AI training? Notes on what Epic's licenses allow

Disclosure up front: I work as an independent broker on these deals, and the marketplace pays my fee.

Some UE devs have been getting offers to license their project’s code to AI labs, and the question of what Epic’s licenses allow usually gets skipped. Here’s my reading. I’m not a lawyer, so check the text yourself.

The game code and assets you made yourself are yours to license. Section 6(e) of the EULA says engine code, including a modified engine, can’t be used to train generative AI, and the same goes for the Samples and Templates content and Starter Content. Engine source can only go to other UE licensees anyway. MetaHumans are stricter. You can’t use them to train or test any AI at all. Lyra is tagged NoAI on Fab, and Fab assets you bought can’t be passed to anyone outside your team. All of that has to come out before anything is shared.

The legit offers I’ve seen are non-exclusive, so you keep the IP and keep selling the game, and nothing is shared until there’s a signed agreement. If someone asks for a full level as a sample up front, I’d say no.

Has anyone here been through one of these? I’m curious what the buyer asked for, and questions are welcome in the thread.
