Has anyone deployed or ported their game to ChromeOS? If so how was the process?

Hey everyone,

I’m doing research on developing applications for ChromeOS and I was wonder if anyone had already developed their Unreal 4 or 5 project to that platform like and how was it targeting that platform? This discussion is not focused on running the Unreal Editor on the platform, it’s not going to work due to the editor’s spec requirements.

From what I understand from other devs that are not using making games, making apps for ChromeOS nowadays is either WebApps(PWA) or Native Android apps. However, Chromebooks has a special advantage compared to mobile phones using Android, that usually use traditional PC parts like Intel/AMD SoCs. So in theory, it’s like working between both Android and Low-end PCs when developing the game.

So, if anyone has their experience in developing applications for that platform. Please let me know.
