This Short film was made entirely with Unreal Engine 5 
And the whole thing was rendered with Lumen in under 30 minutes, which is mind-blowing!

Just wanted to pop in and say how utterly impressive this short is. Every element from the world design to the dialogue to the combat animations all felt so thoughtfully crafted. The story was especially wonderful - so darn cool to watch 
If you don’t mind me asking, how long did this take to create?

We create this cinematic as part of an educational series. It tooks us 5 months to plan, create everything and then put the parts together for the educational content because ultimately the goal was to be able to teach this to anybody who wanted to learn unreal engine 5. If it was just the cinematic without the concern to teach it, this should have been done within a month or two.

I just got the Presale for the Course. So hyped to learn from now Officially The Best Unreal Instructors teaching the latest features. The Star Wars tutorial was great, but I know this new Course is going to create New Creators. It was perfect timing for me to see you start off teaching Gaussian Splatting and Now This. Just watched through this short and can I say it gave me such chills! The opening was so smooth and the storytelling through script and tone alone is astonishing. I really appreciate your visuals as well as they’re so meticulously shot to highlight the scenes quite perfectly.
Do you plan to make similar shorts like this in the future?
