Hardware requirement for using UE5

Hello there!

I am a filmmaker fascinated by the things one can do on UE5. I would like to start learning it and using it in my forthcoming projects. I would like some advice on the machine specs. Can someone please tell me if the following specs work fine?

MacOS Sierra

Version 10.12.6

Processor 2x3.46GHz 6-Core Intel Xeon

Memory 96GB 1333 MHz DDR3

Startup Disk Macintosh SSD

Graphics ATI Radeon HD 5770 1024MB

I am getting an OS upgrade with a new GPU that’s compatible to this system which is AMD RX 580. Should this be ok? Or Should I need a completely new system which is obviously an expensive process and I will have to wait for that? Kindly advice.

Mac OS Sierra will definitely not work because for UE4 itself the minimum requirement is 10.14 Mojave.

Personally I think its better to get a decent PC instead of Mac but that is just my personal opinion though.

Thank you for your advice. Its just that I have an existing machine which is a Mac. I am trying to work with it. The OS will surely be upgraded to a Catalina or Mojave. But can you tell me more with regard to the GPU.
