Half of Input images missing from project after 1.1 update

I have a drone surveyed area that was made with PPI into a textured mesh and exported properly, just like every other project before.

But now suddenly after this latest 1.1 update, my existing project is missing its input images, there should be ~2300 as you can see from the image below, Registered Camera poses (2278), but half of them show up as “???.” The image files have not changed, but for some reason the software doesn’t see them anymore.

I have tried the following:

  • adding the inputs back using Add Imagery, no change.

  • resetting the software settings, no change.

  • reinstalling the software with a clean install, no change.

  • adding the inputs back by modifying the .rcproj, no change.

 

I need to re-texture and export a new version of the model with some geometry changes, but since the inputs are missing, I can’t do this. Any help would be appreciated!

Hello mikko,

please try to delete all the cache data related to RealityCapture and also the hidden crmeta.db file that is automatically created next to the input images. By default, cache files are stored to system temp C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Temp

Then please try clean install again and load the project.
