I have a PhotoGram shoot of a subject that is rely hairy (wished he shaved) some of the hair is cussing issues with the solve and is over exaggerating the depth which make the model rely spike.
is there any advice on what to tweek to fix this?

the main “problem” here is that RC can reconstruct much more details than the competitors’ solutions, that is why you get hairs reconstructed with much more details.
There are not many settings that could help here. Try to change the RECONSTRUCTION->SETTINGS->IMAGE DEPTH MAP CALCULATION->NORMAL MODE from the default value of 2 to 3, this way it will use lower-resolution images for the model calculation…
