Hair doesn't bind to place and behaves strangely!

Hello again, community!

I’m working on this character for my game.
It’s a metahuman. The hair I created in Blender.

I imported it into the game but the hair won’t stay attached to the head.
But that’s not the strange and aggravating part!

I created a binding and used the face skeletal mesh,

but when I use it on the hair, it puts the hair on the floor!

And moving the move tool doesn’t do anything!

And when I get to some areas with it, the hair starts glitching and then disappears.


Anyone has ANY idea what’s going on and how to fix it? :confused:

OK, figured it out, I think.

It’s all about how you export it from Blender and import it in Unreal.
If you follow some of tutorials out there on how to make hair in Blender and get it to your metahuman, you might come across similar issues as I have.

This tutorial. however, teach you how to do it with the particles system and by adding a vertex group for the hair.

Following this guy made the hair finally behaving properly and stick to my character’s head. So I guess this is now the way I’m going to do it.
