I’m using the experimental Hair Card Generator plugin and have managed to generate the new card mesh and textures successfully. But when I view the results the hair looks translucent and the dithering is very obvious. I’m unsure what I may have done wrong if anyone has some insight into what is happening. I initially tried to make the card mesh and textures for my own groom made in XGen when I ran into this issue. I thought I may have done something wrong so I also followed step by step guide Epic released for the plugin and ran into the same issue. I found the solution to my problem. I had virtual texture streaming support enabled in my project. The generated textures had Virtual Texture Streaming turned on by default. Turning that check box off in the texture settings fixed the issue.
