I usually post the negatives here, but today I did a stream after 4 months and built in both UEFN and Creative.
I want to say that I legit had so much fun building. The amount of power of UEFN and the agility of Creative, combined, was mesmerizing to say the least. Even though I have built more content in 4 hrs before, today was one of the most enjoyable streams I have ever streamed.
Still not sure why, I was just lost in the trance of the development flow. I enjoyed it immensely.
UEFN has become faster to sync, editing content no longer lags the editor (with URC turned off because there is still a tiny delay), and both engines genuinely feel stable.
Even though my internet is still bad and cannot hold a stream with FN running and UEFN uploading, I still felt sooo good building today and I can’t shut up about it when talking to my friends.
Even thought the trip to Unreal Fest is coming, now I can’t wait to get back and continue the streams.
I want to say thank you for all the hard work that has gone into maintaining multiple engines with such short development cycles/updates, it is really showing.
Also thanks for improving the issue reporting flow, reporting issues now is faster and I can spend more time developing. Things are looking good, and good always translates to content.
Keep up the great work, and if you are curious about the stream, I left a link down below:
