I am attempting to create a Call of Duty map using Unreal Engine and import it into Call of Duty games such as Call of Duty 2 or Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. If anyone has knowledge of this process, your assistance would be greatly appreciated. I have sought help from various communities, but I consistently receive the same advice: “use the Radiant tool that comes with the game.” However, I find Radiant challenging to use due to its outdated technology and software. Any guidance or alternative methods would be very helpful.
what makes you believe that unreal is compatible with those games?
is this something you have seen others doing and you can’t make it work or is something new you are trying to do?
looking at those games, those are made with IW engine not unreal
I am not at all familiar with the process of making anything for CoD games. All I’ll say is that all the meshes in your level can be exported as either FBX (materials not embedded) or glTF (or .glb) (materials embedded). Those are pretty common interchange formats if you want to work with stuff in external software.
Make sure you’re conscious of what content you’re exporting from Unreal Engine. Marketplace content and Epic Games content is only licensed for use in Unreal Engine.
