I would like to work specifically with metahumans and I want to know if the GTX 1650 Super Asus Tuf card could be used for this or if I would have difficulties. If you think I will have problems, please, tell me why and suggest another one with a cost close to this card.
My setup: Intel Core I5 10400 c/ Scythe Big Shuriken 3 - ROG Strix B460-I Gaming - Skarkoon Case - UHD Graphics 630 (temporária) - Crucial Ballistix 16 GB DDR4 3200mhz - SSd Crucial 240GB/WDC Blue 1TB
Thanks for any help.
You don’t need to worry about a GPU with MetaHumans because the resulting image is streamed by the application server and does not run locally at your computer. As a side note, you can still use your Intel built-in gpu with this solution and wait a little longer for the GPU prices to drop, they are consistently getting cheaper week after week and probably you will be able to get your hands on a RTX 3060 with 12GB VRAM for a little bit more expensive and those 12GB will last longer. The more VRAM you can get the best for any future needs any game engine will ask for, so a card with 8GB or less will probably hold you back in the near future.
GTX 1650 has only 4GB memory which can be restrictive to your project size/the amount of maps that you can load in the memory. If you can wait or stretch to at least to RTX2060 6GB or 2060 Super 8GB would be a lot better. Prices will come down eventually.
