i am curious if anyone shares the opinion of this Digital Foundry video:
It’s about the Callisto Protocol and it points out a problem that seems to be hard to overcome even for professional teams like Striking Distance.
The problem of “shader compilation stutter” on PC is not a new one, but i think if even professional teams aren’t able to get it right on release date should smaller teams even try?
To make it clear: I think UE is a fantastic engine and Epic is doing great work to make this high level technology “affordable” for small teams / individuals!
