Using a grind rail with visual style set as vine and showing vine in uefn editor but not in game !
Hello Elvios, Welcome to the Forums.
I dropped a Vine-Rail in and started a game, but the rail looks as expected.
Is there anything else that someone would need to do to see it break?
If you can find a way to reproduce this consider making a bug-report for it in the bug reporting section!
Thats very strange I opened another project of mine and same problem I put one grind rail copy paste it and put vine visual style and same problem perfect in editor but not in game
In editor
In game
Ah, the method of making a duplicate is a good consideration. (Dragging a new grind rail from content browser vs holding alt and dragging out another rail to duplicate vs CTRL-C/CTRL-V)
Still no luck reproducing it on my end though.
I’d experiment with your in-game graphics settings. They seem very low from that screenshot (no shadows/flat lighting) Were you using Direct X11 or Performance mode in that in-game screenshot?
Hi ! Sorry for the lack of quality in my screenshot its because of HDR and my screenshot had a mess with it but thats only the screenshot ! We tried performance mode directx11 in low and max settings same thing for directx12 min and max settings same problem
Here is a video recording of me creating a project and mooving some grind rails so you see the problem ! You have difficulty doing the bug we have difficulty not creating it lmao !
Thanks for testing those other settings and for the video! - I’m stumped.
@landscape Posted a bug about problems with Grind Rails in the French Language Client. So I wonder if that’s related.
Does this still happen if you change Fortnite’s language to English?
I have no words… Changing the language to English in Fortnite displays the Vine Rail correctly… No idea how a game’s language setting can affect device visuals… thanks a lot for finging this post ! Gonna have to wait for bug fixes !
