Hello, everyone!

My name is Matt/Neo and I’m a student over at Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU,) and I’m about to start learning how to use Unreal Engine to make some games.
I wanted where or how I should start integrating into this community as I do want to learn more and make some friends and/or connections as I go on with my studies but I know that sometimes communities like this have close knit circles of people who have known each other for a long time. Any and all suggestions on how to better integrate with the forum would be greatly appreciated.

The two main things I would say to do are

  1. Start answering questions as soon as you can. You might know nothing about the engine now, but it won’t be soon before you can help with simple things

  2. When you do ask questions, lay things out very clearly with pictures and code. Show that you’ve already made some progress and need some help, rather than just expecting answers out of the blue
