Grass texture performance question

Hi @anonymous_user_98dc406c,
i use for performancetesting a 1x79px “picture”, to texture my grassmesh and stretch it along the mesh.
Result is looking ok, but makes that sense to optimize performance?
Texture: Very tiny 1x79px, hard to see.
