Granular synth audio textures

Looking for some help on how to create granular synth audio textures with the blueprints in the 4.18 engine. Finding some examples online but not much in the way of thorough how-to’s. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thx!

Example: The Future of Audio in Unreal Engine | GDC 2017 | Unreal Engine - YouTube

Granular is (in a way) less predictable than other types of synthesis, and something that usually requires and rewards experimentation. After some time you will gain an intuition for it, but even after that, you’ll find yourself experimenting to get somewhere, and explore.

Did find this, very general approach source of info: https://www.soundonsound.com/techniques/granular-synthesis

And here’s a working, neat-sounding BP example, that is a decent starting-point for experimenting with creating slightly random soundscapes.
The sound used here is one of the editor sounds(VR_WorldMoveLoop_02). Should be available if you ‘Enable Editor Content’ in the ‘View options’, when you are selecting sounds from the drop-down menu.

Thanks for the info Arthur!
