Gradual selection for meshes

Agisoft has a very nice feature called gradual selection, which is perfect for get rid of these floating parts, that occurs especially in the hair. It would be great to have something similar in CR too :).

I prefer CloudCompare’s filtering based on vertex density. Being able to visualise vertex density on a mesh is good for evaluating where more images are needed, and filtering by max/min density is handy for cleaning up the edges of arbitrary meshes. e.g. https://skfb.ly/JqnS

Hi RC team, do you have an answer on the above question? Gradual selection and lasso tool would be very helpful tools if possible in RC. Would save some people and projects a lot of time and effort.

They already did it. Its Filtering tool. Buts its works not to perfect.

Hi Yegor.

Not quite the solution we were hoping for is it? Not sure how they will implement this or if its even possibly with the algorithms, however we shall see.
