Grabbing a skeletal mesh in VR

As mentioned above, i seem to not be able to somehow comprehend how to accomplish this. I have other parts pretty much completed but this thing somehow eludes my coffee-infused brain.

In the picture is my system for grabbing statich mesh components. I have been lead to believe that grabbing skeletal meshes requires physical animation/physics handle etc or something like that.
Any tips or pointers are greatly appreciated (I can grab the skeletal mesh with this if i tick the "weld bodies but well. That really isn’t what im looking for :'D)

If more info or anything is required, just let me know. If/when i manage to get this working ill try to share it to others via pictures or something.

Just to edit. Of course i got it to work after like a few hours. The problem is still that i cannot grab the part i want but the part that is put in code. This should be a rather simple addition to make so hopefully the pick can help others out at least partially. And oh yeah. The one component cut from this pic is skeletal mesh component FYI.
