There seems to be a bug concerning the Initial Color when using GPU Particles. Or maybe it’s just a limitation.
What I’m doing is that I’m animating the Initial Color over the lifetime of the emitter by using Constant Curve.
On regular particles, it works just fine, but on GPU particles, the initial color remains the same as the first value that I set. This is for both Start Color and Start Alpha.
I was wondering if this is a bug or just a limitation to which there will never be any fix.
It’s annoying not to be able to animate this really =/
