GPU Crashed or D3D driver Removed issue , Continuously Ue5 Crashes

Getting this error “GPU Crashed or D3D driver Removed issue” after 10-15 mins of opening the project in ue5 4.4. And sometime there also other crashes such as “Unhandled Exception: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION reading address 0xffffffffffffffff” “GPU dump triggered” etc. currently i am using- Ryzen 5 7600x 16gb Ram 1650super I tried few things -

  1. Update my NVidia drivers and then rolling back to previous version of the driver (both doesn’t work)
  2. adding tdr and tdrDidelay to the registry (doesn’t work)
  3. rolling back my os from windows 11 to windows 10 (doesn’t work).
  4. Deleting some bps which might be causing issue (doesn’t work either).
  5. reinstalling ue5 into another driver (also doesn’t work)
  6. changing NVidia control panel settings(doesn’t work )

Any Help is highly appreciated
Thank you for your precious time,
Have A great Day

UE5 Error_2

Greetings @NotSahilRaja

Welcome to the Unreal Engine Community Forum. I’ve saw this issue on a number of occasions with DX12. Sometimes it’s something as simple as doing a full reset to default on NVidia Control Panel that fixes it and other times it’s been things such as the GPU not being seated well, RAM incompatible with the motherboard, etc. If you try swapping the project to DX11 it may also resolve it. But, in some cases people want to keep DX12 for some of the new features. I’d check those areas if you haven’t. (Especially if this is a custom built PC or you’ve changed the RAM etc)

some how i got a temporary fix by just capping my max fps to 30.
however thanks for the reply , have a great day

Excellent! You too!
