GPU Crashed or D3D Device Removed. Use -d3ddebug to enable the D3D debug device. Check log for GPU state information.

I have a laptop with an i7-13700h and rtx3050 6gb.
every time I open Unreal 5 I get the error
GPU Crashed or D3D Device Removed. Use -d3ddebug to enable the D3D debug device. Check log for GPU state information.

I tried multiple clean installation of nvidia drivers and doesn’t seem to work.
When no nvidia driver is installed it seems the laptop defaults to using the integrated gpu and unreal works.
So the problem seems to be with unreal not working on my dedicated gpu.
Can anyone suggest anything?I am desprate at this point.
here is the crash report:

Try to charge plug in the laptop, usually that give more juice power to the laptop.

Use the basic level map instead of the default world map to see if there any change.

And switch to RHI 11 or 12 and vice verca.

I tried plugging in, is the same. The thing is, this is an instant crash every time I try entering the program.

With much effort I discovered that if i create a shortcut of unreal with -dx11 flag and I disable through device manager the integgrated display adapter then the program launches and then I re enable the integrated , then it finnaly runs on the dedicated gpu. There seems to be a problem when switchg from integrated to dedicated gpu

hi @Raducus123 ,
This is a common problem and this is documented in

Reducing GPU Timeout Detection and Recovery Crashes

Hi, thank you for your respone , I’ve done all the registry fixes and still doesn’t work.

Hi did you find a fix for this? I have had this problem since August and have had zero help from Epic.
