Got a new motherboard and processor, now UE4 is constantly crashing

Hello,

I recently upgraded my system with a new motherboard (ASUS PRIME 390A) and a new core (Intel Core i7-8700k). Ever since then, Unreal Engine has been crashing consistently regardless of what I’m doing in the engine. Here is the error message that pops up:

I also have the crash log file, but for some reason its not letting me upload that here. Let me know if that is needed, i can just copy/paste the whole thing.

Thanks,

Have you re-installed the engine?

And operating system?

 --------

Yes and yes, both have been reinstalled.

Is it running fine in all other respects? I’m assuming you updated the graphics card drivers from default etc…

Yep, I’ve updated my graphics card and everything… I noticed in the task bar there is an “Asus q-installer” that gets stuck during the download. Is my motherboard driver not downloading perhaps? It just gets stuck at "connecting to server…

Yeah, tricky… But if you google:

I see a lot of people talking about the vid card ( nvidia ), it’s probably related somehow, that’s where to look…
