does anyone know if there are limits to how gory a horror game can be and if it can be more appropriate by displaying a disclaimer warning for sensitive and gory content and a option to ether display gory, censer gore and limit gore

This would be considered an accessibility option, such as a colorblind mode. You don’t HAVE to add it. I think I speak for most everyone when I say that nobody is against accessibility options, but it is definitely appreciated by many!

thank you so much, i am thinking to add that but i am still kind of stuck on if large amount of gory is ok for games…honestly think of the movie terrifier
It’s all dependent on the rating. Obviously a game for kids it wouldn’t be okay, but games for adults like Mortal Kombat have always been known for large amounts of gore, to the point where it’s a core element of the game, just like movies. Go look at Outlast Trials and Outlast 2 for more examples!
