GoPro Hero Black 4 settings?

Hey all,

So I’m adding some drone footage to import into RC and I’m using a GoPro Hero Black 4 (via a 3DR Solo).

Anyone have any tips for GoPro settings (no special lenses) for the camera, post-processing before reconstruction, and/or reconstruction settings in RC? I know a couple of posters have used this camera before and your thoughts could save me a bit of R&D.

Bump - this would be nice! We know the radial distortion settings for the gopro , how can we add them in??

I’ve never tried stitching gopro.

but if your having trouble with brown 3, i  would try division.

What about brown 4? That is supposed to be better for fisheye…

i’ve had best results with division for fisheye.

though its probably worth trying all the options.

esp on an easy scene with lots of overlap.

 

though i seem to recall one of the demo’s with a massive number of photos used go pro’s along with drones, slr’s etc…

so there will be people who have used them with rc.
