Google play subsystem works with online multiplayer now?

In the recent update the details say that google play services has been updated. So that means that google play multiplayer works with online subsystem interfaces?

If it does how is setup?
and if it is not how can i bind the c++ api described on google guide with a custom plugin wrote by me?

For instance they talk about GameServices::Builder and i guess that ue4 has already implemented this because ue4 uses leaderboards and achievments.
