Google Daydream Motion Controller - Only 90 degrees for Pitch

I have only 90 degrees of values for pitch. I hold the controller straight in front of me. It’s at 0. I point to the sky its 90 degrees (Either 0 to 1 for the pitch value from forward vector, or 0 to 85 for rotation - break rotation - I think), when I go past that point, sort of behind my head it begins going back from 1 to 0, or from 85 back to 0. Why don’t I have 180 degrees above horizontal plane? And how do I access or program blueprints to give me this?
