good evening, does anyone know how to activate 3d connexion devices in Mac, thanks so much

Mac OS Monterrey- M1pro

Hello ,

Thank you for posting in the community your question and your interest in the 3d connexion devices support for the Mac version. At this time the functionality is only supported for Windows OS but we are planning on making it available for Mac as well. You can reference the limitation in the release notes here: https://twinmotionhelp.epicgames.com/s/article/Twinmotion-2022-1-Release-Notes

Also please note that at this time Monterey and M1 are not yet supported for Twinmotion and you may encounter limitations due to this. Below are two articles with more information on this.

Thank you for your interest and patience while we work on this.

Kind regards,

Vincent B.

Hi , thanks for your answer.

Has Epic Games made some progress in developing the Spacemouse 3DConnexion interaction with Twinmotion in Apple computers? Another question: Are there any plans to integrate Path Tracer into Twinmotion for Apple computers?

All the best

Diego Rojas

Hello ,

We have put the 3Dconnection for macOS on our road-map and is still planned to be implemented at this time.

Here is the link for reference: https://portal.productboard.com/7pu88c9kpmqtzt8hwg6arujh/c/964-3dconnexion-mac-support

Since the exact Path Tracer technology cannot exactly run on mac due to some limitation with hardware compatibility on Apple side there is nothing we can do at this time.

However there is Lumen and that is functioning on macOS and we have plans to integrate Lumen: https://portal.productboard.com/7pu88c9kpmqtzt8hwg6arujh/c/1028-lumen

Kind regards,
