Following my first tutorial for UE5, stuck on the third section that talks about global post process. It’s not appearing under my outliner like I see in the guide. Went in and out of game mode and it wouldn’t show. any idea how i add this?
Hi Benjamin, Welcome to the Forums,
Did you add a post process volume to your scene? (Making it unbound will make it “global”)
Thank you for the reply, in the guide he refers to global but mine shows like this. Just “Post process Volume” trying to work out the auto exposure when I look at something for too long as shown in the guide.
Maybe the tutorial has renamed their PostProcessVolume. As long as the ‘type’ (listed next to to the name in the world outliner) matches, you’re working with the same thing.
Also, there are “Global” (project-wide) settings for auto exposure in Edit → Project settings.

I just learned that a bug with auto exposure was fixed in 5.1.1, so try with the hotfix first.
Okay great to know and I will give that a shot Thank you so much for the help.
