[Glitch] Z-fighting on Editor surface

Found a glitch: editor z-fighting for short time at startup at BP-editor window, while i’m drag graph surface with mouse.

That isn’t z-fighting more like a glitch in your video card or driver. Do you have up-to-date drivers?

Yes, i do. It isn’t happend in any video games or any graphics application (3DS Max, Maya, ZBrush), it’s only happen in UE4 Editor. Graphics card is lower than minimal requriments and it happen only for me, but it’s more like… indicator: there is something in rendering pipeline that can be improved.

Thank you for your report. We were not able to investigate this on the engine version you reported, but there have been many version changes to UE4 since this question was first posted. With a new version of the Engine comes new fixes and it is possible that this issue has changed or may no longer occur. I have an on-board Intel Video card and I’m experiencing this issue as well. I know UE4 is mostly used to create 1337 games, but I’m evaluating the engine to see if we can use it for our low-end target audience. We need to be super inclusive to reach the maximum amount of people with our games.

I will investigate further to make sure the final product doesn’t have these glitches but so far UE4’s compatibility isn’t very confidence-inspiring.
