I have tried to link my github account to the Epic Games account following this guide here

however when I get past the OAuth authentication the epic games just says I can’t link due to “Sorry, your Epic Games Account is already connected with another Github Account” even though I have revoked access on any accounts that had any access.
I get the email links and everything but just when I try to go to the repository I get the 404 page not found error
In my Epic games Account → Apps and Accounts it seems like GitHub is not linked and it does not change even when I try to link it.
any help would be greatly appreciate!
