Ghost Game instance

So I have a game instance that is in the project that im working on that i deleted about 4 months ago, when i go into the file folder the game instance is there, but when i delete the game instance from the past which was connected to almost all of my old files it screws everything up. this file doesn’t exist yet everything is working. Ive created many blueprints that are running fine, am i going to have to redo all my bps because of this?

After Fixing the issue with this ghost game instance i now have the issue where everything is no longer reading that it works

Could be an old redirector. You can enable seeing them via the filters button, or clear out all of them by right clicking your content directory and selecting the resolve references (may be called some else, I forget). If you do clear it or delete it, make sure you reassign your game instance In the project settings. Restart editor afterwards to clear out memory/ undo stack. Of course back up your project before doing all that :).

It was an old redirector in which i fixed and then had the issue that everything was saved under the old redirector so i had to go into the files themselves and remove the old core files that where technically still attached. This worked because after doing the fix it gave me the issue where everything was working but something else was wrong. so yay
