Hello,
I’m not sure if what I’m asking is going to be possible, but I was wondering if there was a way to acquire a mesh from a blueprint. I am using a vegetation pack, and within it was only one tree, however, in the Demo Scene it provides, there is a second tree, but I believe it is just generated by a blueprint and was just duplicated throughout the scene. I would love to use this tree (as I am creating a dense forest), but seeing as there will be a huge number of them, I would like to (or may need to) be able to use the “Cull Distance” feature within the Foilage settings. I don’t believe I can do this unless I actually use a mesh to put into the Foilage paint tool.
So this is why I am asking whether or not it’s possible to acquire a mesh from the blueprint used for the tree within the Demo scene. If it’s not possible, could I perhaps use the blueprint within another project and somehow export it as a mesh into my current project?
I’ve provided some pictures below in case they are needed, and as always, any help is greatly appreciated!
*Disclaimer: I am in no way trying to claim these blueprints/meshes as my own. For this particular question, and in the pictures, I am using the “[FREE] Foliage Starter Kit” found here: [FREE] Foliage Starter Kit - World Creation - Epic Developer Community Forums
