I’m creating a sequence using metahumans and grooms that I created in Blender. I’ve got the groom bound to the skeletal mesh and everything is great.
However, I can’t figure out how to stop the hair strands intersecting with the mesh. I’ve tried lots of different things like:
- adjusting the hair strands properties (strands size, density, smoothing & thickness) in the groom
- creating a physics asset from the skeletal mesh and adding collision capsules
- reimporting the groom and setting the Hair guide density to 1
