Getting clarity on setting colorblind deficiency in Unreal 4.25.4

Hello
Just to get clarity on setting color blind deficiency compensation with a packaged game.
If I understand this correctly, its only meant for the developer to see how a colorblind person would see the colors in the game and its NOT an adjustment the colorblind player can make in the final ackaged game.
Is that correct?
Because when I set it all up it only works in the editor.
Once you package the game it doesn’t work only in the menus you can see effect.

I just have to comment on how little information the documentation on this issue gives us.
