Getting an error that shows UE4PrereqSetup_x64.msi is unavalaible. Any help? This has happened every time I try to get fortnite to install through the epic games launcher and I can not find a fix

As the title says it will install all the required files or so it seems then it will want me to launch Prerequisites (x64) as admin, I do, and it loads up an error saying it is unavailable. I will link my Dxdiag and a screenshot as to what I am talking about in case anybody can help.

This is what I see when I launch the epic games launcher as admin. The text under the Use Source is as follows. C:\ProgramData\Package Cache{457BE011-43FF-44A7-9FA7-B3BE181E2076}v1.0.10.0\

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Solution next:

  1. Go to regedit
  2. Find “Prerequisites” where name of one value should consits ‘‘UE Prerequisites ****’’
  3. Delete this folder
  4. Run Epic Games

if have this problem still says it can find the Missing UE4PrereqSetup_x64.msi
