Getting an earlier version

HI,
The current version of UE won’t run on MAC 10.12.06 (which I am on and can’t update), so I have never downloaded UE 4.25.1. I would like to download the last version of UE that was compatible with Mac OS 10.12.6. Can I do that and how can I do that? There is no dropdown menu with any options in my downloads, only a download button for the most current version.

In the launcher, click the big plus button for other engine versions, then you get a drop down:

Brilliant, thanks! I had seen this as an answer in previous q&As, but saw no such “plus” button, until I looked very carefully and saw that there, in fact, is one. The problem is that the background color (black) and the button–before it is clicked–is also black. Therefore, I wasn’t able to see the plus. Thanks again!!

Does somebody know what the last compatible version with Mac OS 10.12.6 is?

Hi, I had the same question. My current Mac OS is Monteray 12.7.6.What would be the best version of Unreal to launch with this OS starting with 4.0.1.I’m new here. I hope this question is clear…I have an old Mac , but would like to explore Epic, before i go to the expense of buying a new mac, or getting a new PC.

Hey there @Blackbird3188042! Welcome to the community! Engine version 5.3 is the latest version that lists the latest Monterey as a minimum requirement. Though this doesn’t verify how well it would run without knowing it’s specifications as well. 4.27 is the most stable and light version to date if 5.3 is too heavy.
