Getting a weird underwater postprocess issue

Hello

I am having this weird issue with my underwater postprocess, in unreal 5

It turns bluish all materials and blinks a lot in some directions

Anyone having this issues?
Can anyone give me a hand to correct that?

Here is a exemple that whats going on

Ill appreciate a little help, i am kind of new at unreal engine

Thanks a lot

Are you sure it is the post process material? If you think it is the material, could you please showcase the material editor nodes?

Hey there @fabiohfernandes! Welcome to the community! Unreal engine 5.03 or Unreal engine 5.1? Are you using any other post processing volumes?

Hi Elias, i think it is the post process effect qhen you go under water…

I tryied to fix, but make it even worst… now there is a green circle as the video show

I am totally lost… i tryied to open a new scene, but this problem now affects even the new archives…

Ive messed something up real bad…

Hey there

Thank you very much for your help…

I am using 5.03 and i am using a post process volume to cast reflections with screen space, on a water mirror on the island arquithecture…

i ve tryied to fix but made iven more messed up

I think it have something to do with the post process under water volume

Thank you very much for your support… really apreciated

Oh I see, alright so the flickering is because your shader wasn’t properly setup before. So by removing it you will solve your issue.

However, since you want an underwater effect you will have to setup a shader to accommodate that. Perhaps this may be of some help: Underwater Post-Process Effect - Shader Graph Basics - Episode 52 - YouTube

Ive openned a brand new scene now in unreal 5.1 and it is the same to me…

I am starting to think maybe it is a driver issue…

The two engines, with the same problem… it is not plausible

Thank you

Is this the base post processing volume that came with the water plugin?

Hello

Sorry, but i dont know exactly… i just added the ocean volume and thats it… i am assuming that yeah, it is the base post… i had another post process volume at the scene, but ive deleted and stayed the same…

It is very odd, because ive opened a fresh new scene in 5.1 and the problem remains… already updated my nvidia driver, and nothing changed…

Thank you very much for your help, underwater is fundamental in my project, and a need to fix that…

Thank you

Hrm, could you disable AA in your project settings and let me know if it works?

I’ve seen a significant amount of flickering come from it before. Raytracing translucency in PPs can also cause some issues like this.
