Im working in the first person template.
I’ve setuup a bunch of weapon type blueprints for different weapons and I’d like to know how to switch out the the default gun meshes with a custom rifles.
I’ve been looking on YouTube and elsewhere and can only find tutorials for blender.
in those (2014) tutorials,
they export the UE4 rifle as an FBX,
put it in max, export it to an obj.
import in to blender, scale and position their new custom mesh to match up with the imported UE4 gun.
Make a single bone, group with custom mesh and export as an FBX. The import that as skeletal mesh.
Does anyone know the best and quickest way to get a custom weapon from Max in to the first person template?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
