getLicense Not working correctly

Hello Everyone,

I’m trying to automatically do some runs in reality capture and for the most part everything seems to function good.
Now I’m trying to license all loaded images automatically, but when I add -getLicense PIN I get “Access Denied”.
What could be the issue?

I also activate the project using an account token.
I’m running version 1.2.1 116300.

Kind regards
Laurens

Hi Laurens,
was the same account used on both accounts? You can check the active account by clicking on the question mark in the upper right corner in RC.
Also, make sure that the internet connection is stable since it is necessary to create input licenses.

I would start with the clean install. Hold SHIFT on your keyboard and then run RealityCapture. In the dropdown choose ‘‘Make it like a clean install’’ and then click on the Reset button. This will open RealityCapture, and you will have to sign in again.
Give it a go after the restart, and let me know if it helped.

You can also try using the PIN certificate file. This can be downloaded from the My Pin section of your account, but you will need the unlock.bin file for it. The unlock.bin file can be exported from the offline activation (you can do it after the above-mentioned reset).

This unlock.bin file is connected to a PC on which it was acquired, and then later it is uploaded in the My Pin section to create a PIN certificate. This certificate can be used instead of a PIN (a path to the file).

Also, is your PIN still valid? Is it possible to license some inputs manually (using GUI) with that PIN?

Thanks for the reply.

I’ve tried it using the certificate file and that seems to work!
