Get Supported Fullscreen Resolutions returning 00

Hi,

I’m trying to use the blueprint node Get Supported Fullscreen Resolutions but whatever I try it always returns 0x0.

At the moment I’m just getting it to print a string of the first value in the array until I can get it to return a correct result. I’ve also tried changing the index to 1,2 ect. but the value always stays the same.

I’ve tried changing the display settings and unplugging my second screen however it doesn’t return the correct result. Could it be because I’m using a laptop?

Thanks

Hello ,

We have another user reporting this same issue but haven’t been able to reproduce it locally. I believe that it’s related to the display settings of the PC that is running the application when the Get Supported Fullscreen Resolutions function is called. Could you provide your DxDiag information so I can try looking into this?

Hi Matthew,

Thanks for taking the time to look into this for me. Much appreciated. I’ve attached the DxDiag file below. In the meantime I’m going to create another project to find the resolution on other devices to see whether it’s just local to my laptop or whether it will in fact work when run on another persons device.

Hello , were you able to try testing this on any other devices?

We haven’t heard from you in a while, . Are you still experiencing this issue? If so, have you been able to test to see if it is specific to your machine? In the meantime, I’ll be marking this issue as resolved for tracking purposes.

Hi,

Sorry, I’ve been busy and haven’t been able to test it further on other devices.

I’ll do it later and get back to you.

Thanks,

I´m having the same issue.

Tried to upload my DxDiag. but this page´s system says it´s wrong file type, but it is a simple txt.

I have found out what is the problem. It´s because i´m working on a notebook. I tried to create in a desktop, and worked. I think this is a problem that we couldn´t solve without a software update i suppose.

Are you working on a notebook too?

Hi,

Not been working on this project for a while now. It was being developed on a laptop so I’d say that was causing the problem.
