Get Overlapping Actors fails with Location Volumes

In my program I want to have this pig pawn within a quadrilateral range, which I’ve defined with a location volume placed in the world. I figured that the GetOverlappingActors function would be sufficient, but it always returns None, even though the pig starts inside the Location Volume.

Things I’ve attempted:
-Moving the volume and pig starting locations slightly.
-Customizing the Collision presets and making sure Overlap events are possible for both the pig and Location Volume

Nothing works, I keep getting the cue that GetOverlappingActors has returned an empty array.

Does anyone know what might be wrong?

Hey, i was having same issue. Make sure to check blueprint settings for both the actor and the Location Volume that ‘Generate Overlap events’ is enabled. for whatever reason its set to false by default
